You know what, feline fam? We've accepted our fate. We don't even try to keep our cats out of the Christmas decorations anymore. In fact, we've gone so far as to buy them their own meowliday decorations for them to climb on and destroy at their leisure, in hopes that they won't touch the real ones. 

Spoiler alert - it doesn't work.

However, we have resigned ourselves to enjoying the prrrocess and taking all the funny pictures we can of our cats invading our festive foliage. We've weighed down the trees with dumbbells, superglued the wreaths and tinsel to the wall, and anchored any sort of ornament with as much string as hoomanly pawssible. That being said, we still find our family felines making their new homes in our trees, and instead of yelling at them, we post them online for you all to enjoy.     See? If you use the flash, the cat almost looks like it's part of the Christmas decorations! No one will notice a large, fluffy creature inside of your tree if they only see flashing lights. Problem solved.

    The second solution that we have is to just get a cat cute enough to look like a Christmas ornament at a glance. People may not even see them, that is, until they start shaking the tree and smashing all of the real ornaments to the ground.

    Every night before bed, I inspect the tree for unwanted ornaments. Every morning, I wake up to find this.

    Accept your fate, OP, sorry! This is exactly why we don't hang ornaments on our tree haha. If it's any consolation, our 2 cats seem to grow out of tree climbing. When they were kittens and the tree was new, they were all over it, now they like to rub their cheeks on the branches and if its small enough, knock it over. But they don't climb anymore. So, hopefully you kitties grow out of it?
